Dear Mr Garrett:
This letter is written to reiterate concerns about progress on the referenced prclect. It
appears that the project will not be completed within the allotted contract time
Advanced Paving requested and was granted an extension of 21 days to the contract time
That time will be up on June 10, 2006, and according to the most recent pay request
approximately 50° O of the work must still be completed.
We have been flexible to date concerning contract time as long as your crews had been
diligently working towards completion. Since we accommodated your request for
additional time, we feel that you should be trying to meet that revised completion time The
city inspector feels that the current daily activity does not reflect an effort to meet that time
This contract does have a provision for liquidated damages that will be enforced if a
significant effort is not made to meet this contract time
