SUBJECT: Development Fees
For approximately six (6) months you have requested that the Engineering
Department take over the responsibilities for calculating development
fees.
We feel that we now have the personnel to perform this task and will
start this procedure as soon as you furnish us with the information we
have requested.
1. List of fees that should be included.
2. Which fees are covered by ordinance and which ones are not.
3. Examples of the methods you have been using to calculate each
fee.
4. All records pertaining to this activity including copies of
the detail breakdown of each fee that has been calculated for
each project developed in this City.
Until we have this information, we will not be able to set up a system
that allows us to track the income generated for the City.
We will gladly take over this task as soon as we have, from your office,
all pertinent data. Until then it will be necessary for you to continue
with these calculations.
