All of the comments were addressed by revising the plans, except for comments 5 and 15 (see below) Notes on
particular comments.
3. Areas A-1, A-3, and A-6 were reduced to 0.59, 0.25, and 0 42 cfs draining into the streets, respectively (A-1
was divided, with A-1 now draining to an additional inlet and A-8 draining into the street) This is the minimum
amount of flow we could achieve and still grade from the street to the parking areas at acceptable grades.
5. Modifications to the existing median nose will not be required, based on a turning radius for a WB-50 truck.
Attached is a print-out showing the turning radius layout at this location At minimum there is over 5 feet of
clearance to the face of curb of the median nose from the inside of the truck turning area.
8. Attached is a letter of request for variance from the lime stabilization requirement, prepared by Reed
Engineering Group
14 The profile view of the proposed bore was added to a new sheet C4 02.
15 The proposed location of the south DDC vault will not interfere with the existing 10-inch sanitary sewer line
A typical vault size from manufacturer's catalogs is 11 feet by 7 feet outside dimensions. Our sheets currently
show the vaults as 12 by 8, which still allows about 6' clearance to the outside of the sanitary sewer line.
17 The sanitary sewer line was lowered 6 inches The proposed water line bottom of pipe is now just over 2.5
feet above the proposed sanitary sewer top of pipe, based on our proposed grading, which meets the TCEQ
requirement of 2' clearance required to avoid encasement. A profile of the sanitary sewer is included in sheet
C4 02 with a note showing a minimum 2' clearance in the case that the final grading is a few inches off from the
plan contours.
19 The curb inlet was replaced with a grate inlet and the grading was revised so that the area of B-7 within the
right-of-way flows to the grate inlet, while the private commercial drive still drains to the inlet along the drive
