Per the attached letter from Reed Engineering Group, Ltd. dated June 13, 2006, we would
like to request a variance of the Crty of Coppell's requirement for lime stabilization.
This request only applies to the pavement outside of Clty Right-of-Way The proposed
pavement, as shown on the drawings, is 7-inch thick, 3,600 psi reinforced concrete
pavement on 6-inch compacted subgrade Reinforcement shall be #3 bars 18" on center
each way
All paving subgrade within City Right-of-Way shall be 6-inch lime stabilized subgrade or
flex base per Crty of Coppell Standards

thick lime-stabilized subgrade
