SW0501-CS060630Suzan Taylor - R e: Varia for A 600062 P age 1 From: "Gary Olivares" <GaryO @license.state.tx.us> To: "Suzan Taylor" <staylor @ci.coppell.tx.us> Date: 6/30/2006 4:23:14 PM Subject: Re: Variance for A600062 Suzan, Please submit all the information when it is complete. You can submit the information under the same EAB #. Let me know when you do so I can be on the look out. Address it to my attention. In the meantime, I'll hold on to everything until then. We are trying to design all of the ramps at the streets without acquiring any additional right -of -way from the landowners since this is an established neighborhood. This will require a small wall on the back side of the ramp and walkway so that we meet the required slopes and not tear up the yards. Each of the crossing locations is different and the design is taking time. We are also working with the utility companies to see if they can relocate their utilities so that we can straighten the sidewalks at the alley crossings. Each of the 26 locations may have one or two areas that will require a variance in order to tie into the existing streets and sidewalks. It will take several more months to complete the design and identify all of the variances. Do you want all of the variances submitted at one time under the previous variance request or will each crossing and associated variance(s) need to be submitted individually? I can start submitting the crossing as I complete them. Will there be a fee for each variance requested or just one for the overall project? I still have this variance open and I would like to close it out. When do you think you will have this information? Gary L.
