RE: Pavement Thickness Variance Request
All Care Veterinary Hospital Expansion
HEI-05-046
Dear Mr Marvin
On behalf of my client, All Care Veterinary Hospital, I am requesting a variance to the
pavement design to allow for an extra one (1) inch of concrete pavement thickness in
lieu of lime stabilized subgrade The extra inch of concrete should be sufficient to
compensate for the removal of lime stabilization In addition, the small area to receive
lime stabilization is difficult to process and as a result adds extra cost to the project for a
relatively small benefit.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact this office at your convenience
