Halff Associates arrived on site at approximately 10:30 am on January 5 to discuss construction,
landscaping, and inspection issues, The meeting began approximately at t0:30 am and concluded at
approximately 11:30 am. During this time discussions about construction, landscaping, and inspection
issues were held; however, not all attendees were present for all discussions.

II. Issues Discussed
Item Action Description
5,1 info Wright Construction gave Halff the invoice for the month of DeCember to
approve. Halff approved the invoice and sent it to Catellus to approve.
5.2 Wright/Sutton At the 60" RCP site, Wright is filling in the trench with a dozer. Wright still
needs to place riprap and grade at the headwall to provide for positive drainage
to the creek. At the 54" RCP site, Sutton is removing the asphalt shoulder and
stockpiling it on site. Sutton plans to pour the pavement on Monday, January 11.
At the box culvert site, Sutton has excavated the temporary asphalt on the east
side of Freeport Parkway. The east side of Freeport Parkway is barricaded and
traffic is being diverted to the west side of Freeport Parkway. Sutton plans to
pour the pavement on the east side of Freeport Parkway on Thursday, January 7
and plans to have it open on Tuesday, January 12. Wright is grading around the
downstream headwall with a dozer. Wright still needs to place riprap around the
headwall and grade around both headwalls to provide positive drainage through
the system.
5.3 Wright Upon completion of the construction, Wright will grass at the 60" RCP and the
54" RCP sites with winter rye grass.

Sutton
/Sutton discovered a concrete pull box on the 54" RCP site which will conflict
/with the paving. A 3-inch pipe entered the bottom of the box and was full of
/water. Halff advised Sutton to call Garreth Campbell, City Inspector, about
removing or relocating the box.
5.5 info LDC has finished cleating around the creek. LDC still needs 150 to
200 CY of dirt from the stock pile to be dumped at the sign locations at 1-635
and Freeport Parkway. One bore has been completed. Within the next
week, LDC will complete the other bore, haul dirt to sign locations, begin
grading of dirt at sign locations, trench around creek for irrigation system, and
install irrigation system around creek. LDC will be responsible for faxing Brian

Bristow every Monday a schedule for that week which includes specific tasks
that will be accomplished.
5.6 Halff Halff will follow up with the City of Coppell on Change Order #2 and its
approval.
