" Halff Associates arrived on site at approximately 8:30 am on November 10 for
' construction observation. At the 60" RCP site at Fritz Drive and Freeport Parkway, a
front-end loader was spreading native backfill in the trench. The concrete headwall and
i' baffle blocks had been installed. The trench is not up to grade at this time. Backfill
~..~ needs to be placed around the headwall. At the 8'x 5' box culvert site, the box has been
~ ~..:. installed from the downstream end across Freeport Parkway. All of the sections that have
i.' been installed have also been backfilled with native material and compacted. The road
was cut when the box was install~ and now has gravel at the surface for vehicles to drive
over. The concrete from the street cut was piled on site. Traffic control devices were in
place to block one lane of south bound traffic on Freeport Parkway. The small backhoe
was excavating on the west side of Freeport parkway around the existing telephone
conduits. Surveyor's equipment was set up on site. According to Jay, the superintendent
for Wright Construction, they still need to do the 36" and 18" RCP installation and
connection. Wright Construction will probably be done with the box today and will be
finished with the cleanup by Saturday, November 14, 1998. Approximately 10 sections
;~ of box were stored on site. The headwall has not been installed at this time.

site, all of the box has been installed. A crew of 4 was on site to start the upstream
headwall construction. The small backhoe was being used to excavate on the side of the
box where the headwall will be installed. At the 54" RCP and drive site at the
