HalffAssociates arrived on site at approximately 10:00 am on October 20 to discuss construction and
inspection issues. The meeting began approximately nt 11:00 am and concluded at approximately 12:30
pm. During this time discussions about cons~ction and inspection issues were held; however, not nil
attendees were present for all discussions.

1.1 info Biweekly on-site meeting scheduled for Tuesdays at 10:30 am
1.2 Halff Halffwill be performing construction observation twice a week for the duration
of the project. Halffwill be submitting a weekly report to Garreth Campbell
about the construction observation. No particular format was requested by Mr.
Campbell; however, he suggested just photo copying journal notes.
] .3 Wright A set of stamped construction drawings will be provided to Halff from Wright
by courier.
1.4 Halff The proposed drive and 54" RCP design is changing and will be modified this
week and sent to the city for review.
1.5 Wright Wri§ht will proceed from the 60" RCP to the 8'x5' box culvert. The drive and
RCP will be completed last.

October 21 (weather permitting) and begin working on the 8'x5' box culvert
portion on Thursday, October 22. The utility locates and the construction
staking have been performed for the box culvert portion. Wright said they
anticipated the box culvert portion to take 9 working days to complete.

and the City of Coppell.
1.9 Halff Wright asked where to put the spoils from the box culvert excavation. Cat¢llus
said to use as fill material over the 60" RCP if it is the same type of material.
Halffwill check the geote~ report to verify the material. (After review of the
geot~ch report, the box culvert area contains the same type material as the 60"
RCP area and can be used as backfill material)
1.10 Wright Wright stated that they are not going to compact the fill material over the 60"
of the contract documents and construction specifications, Wright will be
required to compact the fill material as stated in Section 04210, Pan III of the
specifications.)

Halff Associates arrived on site at approximately 2:30 PM on October 22 for consmiction
observation. At the 60" RCP site at Fritz Drive and Freeport Parkway, 4 crew members
were working on backfilling and compacting around the double 60" RCP. All the 60"
RCP appeared to have been placed; only one joint remained on the bank. The dozer was
