BOXnZ8 COPPELL, TEXAS 75019 May 18, 1998 Mr. Pat Acker Halff and Associates 8616 Northwest Plaza Dallas, TX 75225 RE: Offsite drainage improvement for PID Project No. DR98-01 Dear Mr. Acker: The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer: 1. Please indicate on the cover sheet that this is a PID project. 2. On sheet D-2 indicate the length of encasement that will be required for the existing 12" sanitary sewer line over the proposed 8x5 PRCB. 3. Provide a detail as shown on sheet D-2 indicating how the concrete replacement should be completed. 4. In the general notes on sheet EC-1 show the correct city. 5. On the Traffic Control Sheet, indicate that any landscaping that is distu_r~bed during the construction of this project and the construction of the temporary paving shall be replace to equal or like conditions. 6. Provide concrete rip-rap at the outfall of Storm Sewer Line B. 7. Indicate the slope of the proposed ground at the top of the headwall for Storm Sewer Line B. The maximum allowable slope is 4:1. 8. Provide a plan sheet showing the limits of the existing drainage easements for the proposed Storm Sewer Line B. If an easement does not exist, provide the appropriate easement documents for review. There are various other minor comments throughout the plans. Once these comments have been addressed, the marked up plans along with two revised sets of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review.
