Dear Mr Bates
There are two eXlstmg high-tensIOn concrete power poles that are III conflict with constructIOn of
the proposed trail along West Sandy Lake Road When the poles were placed by TXU the
concrete support bases were not finished to our proposed parkway grade They are
approximately 24" too high to allow for the trad constructIOn to take place
LocatIOn of Identified conflict adjacent to screenmg wall m the nght-of-way at Oakbcnd
subdivIsIOn between Oak bend Dnve and the entrance to Coppell BIble Fellowship
Dunng a field VISit with Larr) Redick of TXU and John Gay of Tlseo Pavmg, It \\'as determmed
that thlS access concrete base could be removed causmg no damage or concern with the TXU
poles The Clt)' of Coppell IS of the opllllOn that lXU should remove the portIOn of the bases
that IS In conflIct to allow for constructIOn of the trail The contrador cannot proceed with trall
construction until thiS conflict IS removed
The City of Coppell requests that TXU proceed WIth the necessary correctIOns so the contractor
