Dear Sirs:
This letter is for a variance request to the City of Coppell's requirement for lime
stabilization for fire lanes and parking areas. We have been working with Mr. Atul Patel
on this project. The attached soil's report prepared by Reed Engineering Group for the
church recommends:
6" concrete in the fire lanes w/ a scarified and recompacted subgrade and 3000 psi concrete
~" concrete in the parking areas w/scarified and recompacted subgrade and 3000 psi concrete
We would like to use the following alternative pavement section in lieu of the lime
stabilization:
7" concrete in the fire lanes w/ a scarified and recompacted subgrade and 3600 psi concrete
6" concrete in the parking areas ~v/ scarified and recompacted subgrade and 3600 psi concrete.
If this meets with your concurrance we will proceed with the alternative pavement
