Shop Drawing Review
Dear Mr. Owen:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced drawings and has the following
comments to offer:
1. Provide literature on controller cabinet, controller, opticon detector, conflict monitor,
detector cable, loop vehicle detector cards and phase selectors.
2. Please provide contact names and numbers for local suppliers.
3. On the visors and lenses, see Section 5.0 - 5.2 pages 5 -30 of the specifications regarding
all red indicators shall be red LED assemblies including pedestrian lenses.
4. On the concrete mix design, the use of fly ash is not allowed. Also, the wrong project
location is written.
5. On the pole finish, match the color of the adjacent traffic signal north of the intersection.
6. On the pedestrian signal color, use the black housing as per Section 13.0 pages 5 -34 of
the specifications.
There are various other minor comments throughout the shop drawings. Once these comments
have been addressed, the marked up shop drawings along with 4 copies should be corrected and
resubmitted to the City for review. If you should have any questions concerning these
