• Maximum joint deflection of full length

manufacturer's recommended maximum
deflection
• Use ductile iron thickness Class 53
(minimum) for all above grade piping in
lift stations and valve vaults
• Provide Megalug for PVC pipe on
bypass lines at Deforest and Sandy Lake
• 3/4 -inch or 1 -inch post hydrant not
needed
• On 2 -inch post hydrant, provide national
straight thread hose connection, 1/8-
inch (minimum) drain hole, and
aluminum casing guard
• Provide 4 -inch PVC hub on floor drain
• Size Link -Seal per manufacturer's
recommendation for opening and pipe
sizes
