Construction Plan Review Comments
Dear Mr. McGraw:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the 90% plans for the referenced project and has the following
comments to offer:
1. The plan set should include a copy of the latest plat.
2. There are a few mark-ups on the general note sheet. See attached.
3. Survey control plan -construction has taken place on the adjacent school property that may
encroach the area shown for this project. Please reflect that as-built condition un your plans.
4. Storm drain plan -will the 2' wide flumes on the city-owned parking lot south of the police
employee parking area be adequate for drainage? Would it better serve the overall
development if this water were picked up in an inlet and piped underground? Are there any
accessibility issues (ADA or TAS) concerning the steel plates?
The City of Coppell Engineering Department is happy to participate in this project. We will issue
a permit and perform construction inspection for underground utilities and any portion of
concrete construction we are requested to inspect. Please keep us updated on the process
including the name of the successful bidder so that we can issue the permit. If you have any
questions, please contact this office at your convenience.
