Re: Macarthur Drainage Improvements
Dear Keith,
As you know, all of the concrete paving on the subject project has been placed
and is currently under curing. As a result, we did not have any personnel on the
project today although our traffic control is still in place. However, we monitor
our traffic control daily to ensure that it conforms with MUTCD standards. Per
our conversation earlier today, another contractor, Pavement Services, is now
working under our traffic control on the project. We first became aware of this
situation when our General Superintendent Julio Perez visited the jobsite
earlier today. Please be advised that our firm assumes no liability for the work
that is performed by this contractor within our work zone or for any
modifications to our traffic control set up performed by this contractor, the
City of Coppell, or by any other party other than Ed A. Wilson, Inc.
We have spoken to Saustino Estrada of Pavement Services who advises us that
their firm wilt provide all of the necessary traffic control for their work
tomorrow. As we understand it, they will be patching a portion of the left hand
Lane. As you know, this will necessitate opening the right -hand lane which is
stitt under curing. While we do not anticipate that their will be any concrete
strength issues, that has yet to be determined.
