Denis and I have discussed his meeting with you concerning your desire to pass run-off water onto the Cistercian property. Fr. Denis tells me that you and he discussed a number of the options that had already been suggested to me. This letter will confirm that Fr. Denis' position remains the same as outlined in my previous letters. All of your proposals create unnece:3sary expense or adverse consequences for the Cistercian propel:ty. If you truly want to be a good neighbor, then we suggest that you pipe the run-off directly to the creek via. your property. Short of that, we can see no solution to the dilema other than the alteration of your development plans. Finally, you continue to threaten Fr. Denis with the loss of access to your alley if he does not. cooperate. While I am no expert and have not researched the issue, I would be very surprised to learn that, should the property b~ d~veloped ~s residential, he could be denied access to his development through your alley. Of more significance is the current multi-family and commercial zoning which pre- cludes access to his property from your alley, anyway. However, Fr. Oenis has no obliqation to contribute to your development merely because i.t could increase the value of' his property. JH,Jrlsb 'I I I I cc: Dan Beaird R. Rev. Denis Farkasfalvy -.
