RE: Drainage ditch failure adjacent to the Parkwood II subdivision, Coppell, Texas
Dear Mr. Ginn:
Steve Goram, Public Works Director for the City of Coppell, has requested that I
contact you regarding the development problem referenced above. The soil supporting
the concrete pilot channel has eroded causing it to collapse in several locations.
Approximately~undred feet (~0') of the pilot channel have been affected. Alley,
storm sewer and drainage improvements are in danger of collapse if action is not taken
soon to rectify this problem. The entire channel was designed and installed during the
design and construction of Parkwood Section One.
I suggest that a representative from your firm; Pierce Lundsford and Associates, Engineer
for the Coppell Municipal Utility District No. 1; Univest; Threadgill-Dowdey and
Associates, Engineer for General Homes Corporation; the City of Coppell and myself
meet at the site of this problem as soon as possible. I will arrange this meeting if
this meets with your approval. -
Please contact me at your earliest convenience with your suggestion.
