At your request, I have attached a copy of an email we received from Ms. Miller earlier in regard to the
DFW Airport meeting scheduled for November for the review and approval of the lease agreement for the
project proposed at the Southeast corner of IH 635 and Royal Lane in Coppell.
At this time we are requesting that we would be allowed to submit the building construction documents in
order to start to permitting review process. We do realize that a building permit can not be issued until the
DFW lease is finalized and the Final Plat is filed. However, we are hoping, in the interest of saving time, to
be able to start the permitting process while DFW is processing the leasing documents.

Hi Marcie:
We have been asked to postpone approval of this item until we have had
discussions with the City Manager /Council of Coppell regarding the
Interlocal Agreement between the Airport and DFW. John and I have had
discussions with Jim Witt this morning and a future meeting has been
planned to further discuss the Interlocal Agreement following the next
council meeting on November 14.
There are still some lease issues to be negotiated.
Hope this provides you the update you needed. You may want to discuss
the issue in more detail with Jim.

I just got off my second call with Victron's engineer.. During his 1st call to me I told him that the "word"
around City Hall is that DFW Board will not approve the lease and the project will not proceed.
He called his client and called me back and said all is good to go, and the Airport Board is scheduled to
approve the lease in December - the client did close on the property and intends to proceed.
He is pushing to get permits A.S.A.P.
I explained to him, again, that we can not review or release a building permit until all the issues are
resolved, and a plat is filed...
