Bill,
I'm not sure what valve you are referring to.

Tell that to the fire marshall that wants a valve added.

Casey,
First, congratulations on getting your P.E. I hadn't noticed that
before.
After the punch list has been generated is not the appropriate time to
ask for a design change on your site. My advice is to conform to the
approved design so the project can be finalized.
Once the project is complete and accepted the owner may find he has to
make minor modifications during his regular maintenance activities.

Keith,
If you allow us to not build the riprap, I will remove it from the
as- builts and submit to you a revised as -built mylar drawing. Is this
acceptable?
Thanks,

The plans approved for this development show this riprap. Please have
this installed per the approved plans.

Keith,
One of your comments on the Walk -thru checklist requested
the riprap to be placed for run -off from the parking lot. On behalf
of
JDB, I would like to request that we not install that riprap. The
reason is they want to be able to mow Lot 6. With the riprap in
place,
it makes it difficult to mow the small drainage channel. They are
also
concerned that the riprap could block water into the parking lot
during
rain and potentially for a period of time after the rain (if it ever
decides to rain again). Please let me know if you have any concerns
about not installing the riprap.
Thanks,
Casey Ross, P.E.
