Construction Plan Review Comments
Dear Mr. Evans:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
Sheet CIA
1. In General Note #2, you may want to reference the City of Coppell. I do not have a current copy of El
Paso's standards and specifications
Sheet C2.1
2. Freeport V, Lot I, Block A, the development to the west of this site, shows approximately 2.67 acres
of drainage draining onto your site. It appears you may have taken those drainage calculations into
account; however, it is difficult to follow the grades where your access connects to Freeport V, Lot 1,
Block A. Based on the previous plans prepared by your firm, it appears that your site is actually
higher than the site to the west. If that is the case, water cannot flow from that site onto your site.
Please reevaluate your elevations at that connection.
Sheet C3.1
3. It appears the drainage from CiCi's development to the south has not been taken into account in your
drainage calculations. While Line SD -4A has been extended at the far southeast corner of your
property, it appears that a portion of the water coming from CiCi's will get to your parking lot prior to
getting to Line SD -4A. Please ensure that you have taken into account all off -site water.
Once these comments have been addressed, please submit the appropriate number of copies for approval
by the City of Coppell. If you have any questions or need any additional information, please contact this
