Sidewalk and Utility Easement / Temporary Construction Easement
Dear Mr. Clark:
This is a follow-up to our November 2, 2004 offer letter for a 10-foot sidewalk and utility easement and a
temporary construction easement on property that is owned by Coppell Bible Fellowship. The easements
are necessary for the reconstruction of Sandy Lake Road, from S.H. 121 to N. Coppell Road. Since that
time, the city has had several conversations with Mike Daniel of Nathan D. Maier Consulting Engineers,
who is working on the church parking lot expansion. He said the church wanted to ensure that a median
opening and left-hand turn lane would be constructed for the church, prior to signing the easement
documents. The construction plans for the Sandy Lake Road project show a median opening with a left-
hand turn lane located across from the Church's northeast drive, a copy of the plan-profile sheet is
attached. The city will construct the median opening and left-hand turn lane as part of the W. Sandy Lake
Road project.
The project is scheduled to advertise in the 151 quarter of 2005 and we need to acquire the easements as
soon as possible. Enclosed are copies of the easement documents and offer letter. If the offer is
acceptable, please sign the offer letter and return to this office. Once the letter is received, the process for
payment of the $5,960.41 can start. When the check is ready, we can arrange a mutually agreeable
method to exchange the documents and the check.
