Victron-CS061214 (2)T H E C 1 T Y O F Dear Mr. Alturk: I have reviewed the plans submitted for the referenced addition and find them to be generally in conformance with the City of Coppell specifications. Prior to scheduling your preconstruction conference, the following items should be completed: 1. On Sheet C -6, you should show a stamped concrete band across your driveway on your property; 2. You should obtain a permit for your septic system; and 3. You should submit a letter to the City of Coppell requesting a waiver of lime stabilization under Your concrete. All fees must be paid prior to the Construction Development Permit being issued for the construction of this project. The City charges a 2% inspection fee for all private construction outside the building's footprint. This includes dirt work, paving, storm drains, water lines, sewer lines, drainage pipes, etc. that are private. For all installations in the public right -of -way or easement, the City charges a 4% fee. A check for inspection fees made to the City of Coppell should be submitted to this office along with the Construction Development Permit Application and a copy of the Construction Site Notice. For your convenience a spreadsheet is attached to the permit application for use in calculating the inspection fees. A copy of the contract(s) should be attached for verification purposes. Also, you should submit the necessary number of plans for your contractor, plus the City's four copies to be stamped and signed by the City Engineer prior to construction beginning. Once your pen has been approved, we will host a pre - construction conference at Town Center. The attendance of the contractor and subs will be required, TxDOT representatives will be invited, and the design engineer will be expected to attend. If you have any questions, please contact this office at your convenience. Sincerely, Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E.
