Suzan,
Attached is a Word file containing the list of information still needed. Several things on the list are specific
requests for info from Jessica Napier based on the original submittal, but these things will still be required
even with the revised jurisdictional determination and change in plans to transition back to the natural
channel upstream of Coppell Road. A few are needed to update the submittal based on the new plan.
Have you received any revised drawings from TranSystems showing the plan to transition to natural
channel upstream of Coppell Road?

Loretta:
I gave TranSystems a copy of your December 7 e-mail during our last
meeting with them. You had mentioned in that a-mail that there was
information that you had previously requested prior to the May meeting.
i have not heard anything from TranSystems so they may not feel that
this is part of their contract. Would you put together all of the
information you need so I can make sure TranSystems has a clear
understanding of what information is required. I will approach Ken
about a contract amendment for this work.

Suzan,
I updated the maintenance information based on the information you sent
me re: the new ordinance and fee structure. I still need the
information from the engineers (Just TranSystems this time) as to the
questions I sent before. Have you heard anything from TranSystems?

Suzan Tavlor - Re. Bethel I
What is the status of the resubmittal of the permit - is there
anything
that I need to do?

Thanks
Questions/Information Requested for Permit Application -Tributary G-1 Modification
(USAGE Project No. 200400181)
1. List of lengths and areas of impact based on the revised design that transitions back to natural
channel upstream of Coppell Road. Length and area of impacts to jurisdictional waters of the
U.S. will just be between W. Bethel Rd. and the transition based on the revised jurisdictional
determination.
2. Dimensions of base flow channel (width and depth). We discussed a channel about 5 feet
wide and 1-2 feet deep in the middle based on observation of the existing channel. If there are
some hydraulic calculations available to based this on, it would be good to present it to the
USAGE.
3 Change in elevation (and slope) of the stream bed from existing to proposed (based on revised
design plan). Jessica had requested this after the original submittal and seemed to have difficulty
in interpreting the design drawings showing the profile. If new design drawings showing the
revised plan for transitioning back to natural channel upstream of Coppell Road are available, I
will include a description of the change in elevation and slope in the text based on what is shown
in the drawings.
4. Specifics on velocities requested by Jessica:
Existing flow volume and rates?
Projected flow volume and rates?
Channel forming flows (1.5-2 year frequency storm event) volume and rates?
What flow velocities projected for area where modified channel transitions back to
natural channel?
5. Sediment balance (requested by Jessica):
Mean annual stream flow (QW) and channel slope (So) to bed-material sediment load (QS)
and mean particle size on the stream bed (Dso)
Q~4' SO '., QS Dso
Channel design to get sediment balance
6. Size of base flow channel and relationship to bank full channel (% of flow). (Related to
question #2 above; requested by Jessica)
7. How will the existing channel/flows be protected from construction activities during first
phase of construction? (Jessica requested specifics on the following0
signage?
construction work area?
tree protection?
