Emad ? ?? the engineer for Victron called me Friday morning to let me know DFW approved the lease.
I told him prior to letting them proceed, I still needed something from Irving (I'm not real sure what
Irving's role is but Keith called them daily concerning this). I told him while he was waiting, he could
schedule a meeting with me to go over his permit for the state so it could be submitted.
Bottom line, I told him that he could submit his TxDOT permit, but I would not approve starting any
work until I had the following: 1) official documentation from DFW concerning the lease; 2) any
necessary approvals from Irving; and 3) the TxDOT permit.

I wanted inform you that the DFW Board approved Victron Stores to lease approximately .67 acres of
airport land to support their convenience store and gas station development. Victron Reps and DFW Staff are
finalizing the details of the lease. Please let me know if you need formal documentation of the approval such as
a copy of the final Official Board Action to allow Victron to proceed with permitting and construction start on the
property outside of the .67 acres of airport land.
