I have evaluated the cost of a road that would go from Coppell Road (about where the "Swaldi" road is
proposed to intersect Coppell Road) to the general Senior Center site. The cost is about 2.4 times
higher than the proposed access off of Bethel Road.
The cost for the access off Bethel Road is about $145,000. This is for a 28 foot wide street 460 feet
long with 6 foot sidewalks on both sides and aligned with the street in Old Coppell Estates.
The cost for the access off Coppell Road is about $350,000. This is for a 28 foot wide street 1100 feet
long with 6 foot sidewalks on both sides generally aligned where the "Swaldi" road is proposed.
If the access is taken further south on Coppell Road then the cost would go up.
