Re: Drainage Easement Lot 6 (West Side) Bethel School Road
Dear Mr. Bain:
This letter is written in response to your most recent letter of October 8, 1992, in which you are
requesting a formal reply to your request to have the drainage easement on the west side of your
property enclosed. We have spoken concerning this issue several times over the phone. Most
recently on July 23, 1992. During that phone conversation, I again informed you that the City
had no plans to extend the drainage system nor perform maintenance in the drainage easement.
This is the City's policy in regards to the maintenance of drainage easements.
As to the matter concerning how to get this item on the City Council agenda, a written request
should be forwaf'ded to the City Manager's office for inclusion on a future City Council meeting.
The upcoming City Council meeting dates are as follows: 11/10/92, 11/24/92, 12/8/92 and
12/22/92. Due to the holidays, the 11/24/92 and the 12/22/92 meetings may be cancelled. That
decision should be made in the near future. The written request should be submitted
approximately two weeks prior to the date that you wish the item to appear on the agenda.
