There are conflicts in the preliminary plans and sketches you have provided regarding the roadway width. Is it 36' -0 ', 35'- 10 1 /2 ", or 35' -10 "? If the bridges are being combined into one bridge, can it go back to the original width of 36' -0 "? 2. What is the location of the median face of curb? The sketches don't make sense when compared to the dimensioning and location as originally designed. 3. We have assumed the bottom mat of steel to be the same as shown on the Tx.DOT sheet PCP( C ) for overhangs with concrete panels. Is this correct? 4. Do we need scupper holes next to the median curb? What purpose will they serve? 5- We are going to place the median concrete in a separate pour from the bridge deck utilizing a horizontal construction joint between the median and the deck. Your sketch "Center Median Detail, Denton Creek Bridge" only shows two mats of steel. We think the top mat of steel for the deck needs to be extended across the median section of the deck. Is this correct? 6. What is the reinforcing steel requirement for the solid piece of concrete rail dimensioned I' -7 I /8" typical from the last balluster to either the pedestal or column? Please have these answers no later than Tuesday, December I u , so we can proceed as planned. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, REBCON, INC. Robert C.
