RE: Warren Ct. Culdesac
Staff and the City's Consulting Engineer Firm have determined
.that the best possible cost and expeditious construction of
the culdesac can be obtained through a change order to the
Bethel School Road/Pelican Lane Drainage Improvement project.
This would allow us to utilize existing credentials, maintenance
bonds, and mobilization costs which can be as much as 10% of
the total contract.
-The Contractor has agreed to install a 40' radius culdesac
constructed out of concrete at a cost of $9,500.00. This will
be without curb because of the culdesac's temporary nature.
Our Water Department will relocate the existing fire hydrant.
Public Works respectfully requests your approval of the attached
change order to expedite this project's completion. Finance
Director Frank Trando indicated that funds are available from
the C.I'.P. revenues. The Contractor can begin work in one
week. Thank you. If you have any questions please contact
me.
