Prior to completing the street construction, St. Josephs Village was opened, then the retail outlets were opened and now Universal Academy. The construction of Sandy Lake Road is going slow and is becoming dangerous.  The existing street is becoming hazardous and breaking-up rapidly.  Heavy trucks are moving on it now and there are dangerous ditches where the new concrete roads meet the asphalt road, in both directions.  Our new cars are falling apart and the alignment and tires are deteriorating fast.  We pay HUGE taxes for living in Coppell but are getting poor service.  Please repave the existing asphalt road and have the construction pick up the pace.  The traffic has increased five-folds due to opening of George Bush Turnpike, Universal Academy, the retail outlets and the new housing construction on the Eastern out limits of Coppell on Sandy Lake.  Please do something; we can't live like this until 2nd quarter of NEXT YEAR. Coppell is proud to say that it is 50 YEARS old in 2005?  There are newer cities around Dallas whose roads are fully constructed and there's no problem about traffic and construction.
