RE: North Kaye Street Drainage
Dear Mr. Allan:
Thank you for meeting with us last week to discuss the Kaye Street
drainage concerns. We are committed to finding a solution for this
drainage problem and appreciate the spirit of cooperation which you
have shown in achieving this goal.
As you know, our consulting engineer, Albert H. Halff Associates,
Inc., estimated a cost of $110,000 to rectify the problem, and your
offer to provide $30,000 will not be sufficient to solve the
problem completely. However, as we discussed, we would ask that
you meet with Albert Halff engineers to see if additional ways
could be found to make the necessary improvements with the money
and resources available. I am sure that the City of Coppell and
the residents of Kaye Street will appreciate anything you are able
to do.
Your meeting with Albert H. Halff Associates, Inc., will need to
be completed so we can report to the City Council on August 28.
