Dear Mr. Doyle:
Pursuant to our August 1, 1989 letter regarding the above
referenced project, which we assume precipitated your memo of
August 7, 1989, we offer the following comments. 0
We made no recommendation in our letter. We presented the~)
to you, the City Engineer, so that you could make an act love
decision regarding city policy as you have requested in the past.

There are contingencies of $6,000 available in the project should
the City desire to use same. ~

We can not quantify the level ection of the relief system
exactly, but can advise you reviewing the original
drainage plans, approximately 8 c.f.s. is being passed through
the area of the intersection of ue Jay and Pelican Lane. Any
opportunity for the run-off to be intercepted an discharged r~or
to reac~h' the low lying area near the Gu!dry residence should
provide some needed relief. AnQ'ppreciabl~portion of t e 8
c.f.s. wo enter the proposed inle~.mostly at the higher ~.
