Halff Associates arrived on site at approximately 10:30 am on October 5 for construction
observation. There have been no changes made to the left turn lane area on Freeport
Parkway. The irrigation system and the landscaping near the monument sign at the
intersection of Freeport Parkway and Dividend Drive have not yet been repaired, but the
area has been backfilled to within 3 ft. of the existing ground. The storm manhole lids at
STA 2 +43 and STA 9 +09 — Line A need to be "storm sewer" lids, not "water" lids. The
grader was spreading dirt along the proposed roadway to bring it up to proposed grade. A
crew was backfilling and compacting at the end of the 16" water line. A crew was
cleaning dirt and water out of the first sanitary sewer manhole at STA 1 +14. Chris
Waddle with North Texas Contracting stated that the water line has passed all of its tests.
I need a copy of these test results from North Texas. Chris also stated that the first
sanitary sewer joint downstream of the manhole at STA 5 +51 has dropped down slightly
at the manhole. I will discuss this with Garreth Campbell to determine if any action is
required to fix the situation.
