I1. Issues Discussed
Item Action Descriktion
4.1 info The construction on the left turn lane on Freeport Parkway should begin some
time next week. John Capko stated that he checks the barricades and cones
around the median on Freeport Parkway on a daily basis.
4.2 McMahon The contractor was instructed by Garreth Campbell to remove and replace any
portion of the existing curb around the median/left turn lane on Freeport
Parkway that is damaged prior to or during construction.
4.3 North Texas The contractor stated that the 12" water to 16" water connection is currently
leaking. He is going to replace the fittings and redo the connection. Garreth
Campbell said that the contractor would probably be ready to test the 16" water
line by the end of the week.
4.4 North Texas The contractor has attempted to pump water from the first sanitary sewer
manhole. Video inspection was attempted; however, the camera became
submerged going east and west under Freeport Parkway. A more extensive
investigation will need to take place in order to determine the problem with the
sewer line.
4.5 North Texas Silt needs to be removed from exposed storm sewer pipe prior to completion
(the first manhole location).
4.6 info The contractor was installing and excavating for the water laterals and fire
hydrants. One curb inlet has been poured with concrete, and one is currently
being formed.
