Halff Associates arrived on site at approximately 2:00 pm on September 10 for
construction observation. The irrigation system and the landscaping near the monument
sign at the intersection of Freeport Parkway and Dividend Drive have not yet been
repaired. The contractor is finished installing the 16" water main. The water laterals,
valves, and fire hydrants were being installed. The contractor moved the two curb inlets
at STA 2 +70 to the east 4 feet after talking to Garreth Campbell to better facilitate the
lateral connection. A concrete truck arrived on site and began pouring concrete for one of
the above mentioned curb inlets. Again, water had to be pump out of the first sanitary
sewer manhole. The contractor believes there is a problem with the existing sanitary
sewer line somewhere under Freeport Parkway. More information will be available when
the sanitary sewer line gets video taped sometime next week. The property owner to the
east stopped by the site and asked that the stockpile of native material that was on his site
be removed immediately. The contractor began relocating the stockpile.
