Halff Associates arrived on site at approximately 10.30 am on August 31 to discuss construction and
inspection issues. The meeting began approximately at 10:30 am and concluded at approximately 11:15
am. During this time discussions about construction and inspection issues were held; however, not all
attendees were present for all discussions.

II. Issues Discussed
Item Action Description
3.1 info The contractor has removed all of the existing curb and excavated all top soil
and landscaping at the left turn lane on Freeport Parkway. Barricades have been
placed around the median on Freeport Parkway.
3.2 North Texas The contractor was instructed to backfill immediately under and around the
existing monument sign at the northeast comer of Freeport Parkway and
Dividend Dr. A portion of the foundation is exposed and needs to be supported.
3.3 North Texas The contractor asked to curve the 16" water line near STA 8 +20 instead of using
the 45 degree vertical bends. This will be permitted as long as the contractor
only invoices for the 45 degree bends used and that the new curve for the water
line is documented for as- builts.
3.4 McMahon McMahon was asked to resubmit the invoice dated 8 -26-99 to reflect the work
done to date.
3.5 info Concrete should be arriving on site today for encasement of the water line and
thrust blocking. The 16" water line will continue to be installed when additional
PVC arrives on site. The water trench will all be backfilled at the same time.
