Halff Associates arrived on site at approximately 3:30 pm on August 10 for construction
observation. The sanitary sewer manhole at STA 1 +00 on the design drawings has been
installed. The backfill has been installed and compacted up to about 2 ft. from the top of
the manhole. The irrigation system and the landscaping near the monument sign at the
intersection of Freeport Parkway and Dividend Drive have not yet been repaired.
Sanitary sewer has been installed all the way to STA 5 +51. The backhoe was excavating
for the installation of the 6" lateral and the manhole. The trench safety system was in
place. Crushed rock was being used for the embedment. TXU was on site removing the
existing light pole in the median of Freeport Parkway. The pole was successfully
removed while the base is still on the ground.
