RE: Drainage Problem at the rear of Don Jones' property
located at 632 Bethel School Road, Coppell, Texas
To: The Secretary for the City of Coppell
Please be advised that this firm represents Don Jones with
respect to the above-referenced matter. This letter shall
constitute formal notice under ~11.09 of the City Charter.
Mr. Jones has a creek at the rear of his property which has
in the past, and continues to erode his property to such an extent
that it has now become a very dangerous and critical situation.
Specifically, the creek has washed away large portions of his
property to the extent that it is now dangerously close to his
swimming pool. This damage to Mr. Jones' property will, in all
likelihood, continue until the problem is rectified. Furthermore,
Mr. Jones' has incurred tremendous expenses in his efforts to save
his property, however such efforts have been to no avail.
The monetary damages incurred by Mr. Jones, as well as the
continuing damage which occurs to Mr. Jones' property on a daily
basis, form the basis of this claim. Please be advised that this
firm is making a claim on behalf of Mr. Jones in the amount of
$500,000.00.
