DR8902-CS 890706 (2) GINN, INC. Ci ENGINEERS Mr. RUSof~oppelllO,city P.E. Coppe~, TX 75019 Re: Bethel School Road/Pelican Lane Drainage Improvements Dear Mr. Doyle: In response to the request for comments in the attached Doyle/Goram memos of June 28, 1989 and June 30, 1989, we offer the following observation. In our opinion, neither the provision to extend "Mr. Bains'" storm sewer pipe, nor the decision to delete the extension (Alternate 2 of recent bids, not being a part of the base bid) should have any affect, adversely or propitiously on the park property. ' The headwall end of the existing 30" storm drain is approximately 100 feet from the park property line. An extension of the storm drainage pipe would serve no useful purpose other than to remove the erosion problem and open ditch drainage from Mr. Bains' property. The back 100 feet of Mr. Bains' property is a drainage easement. The park is located in the floodplain. Should you have any questions, please contact us.
