RE: BETHEL SCHOOL ROAD AND PELICAN LOCAL DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS -
BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION
Per the attached special report, previously furnished, Ginn, Inc. took
bids at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 1989, and has provided the
attached bid summary on t~ one bid received.
The base bid received for a total of $64,000 for both sites, is the
originally designed improvements as recommended by the design en§ineer,
Ginn, Inc., and agreed upon during the meeting with the residents1
representativ~at Town Center on March 20, 1989.
The alternates as attached, are the options requested at the meeting of
June 8, 1989, by the residents. These alternatives would provide a higher
level of flood protection.
Staff recommends aw,~-~in~ at least the base bid of $~000.
