Dear Ms. Jonas:
Staff is in receipt of the petition you and your neighbors
submitted to the City Secretary on June 7, 1990. The City Council
presently approved funds to undertake a City-Wide Drainage Study
addressing all known drainage problems. Both sides of Kaye Street
are being addressed in the report, which should be available to the
City Council either in late July or the first of August.
The need to resurface Kaye Street has been documented for some
time. Unfortunately, funding has not been available in the past.
Staff has requested funding in the proposed budget for fiscal year
199o-91.
Acting City Engineer, Shohre Daneshmand, will keep you apprised of
both matters and should you have any questions, please contact
Shohre or myself at 462-8495.
