R ane -' Sta ) Construction Plans and Specifications
De~'~.'
Enclosed please find a final set of bluelines of the construction plans and two bound
copies of the specifications and contract documents for the above referenced project. The city
comment set of construction plans is also enclosed. All comments have been incorporated into
these plans including your verbal comments (1/21/91). The only outstanding issues are:
· placement of the PVC stub-out, ie. existing inlet vs. proposed inlet; and
· which City standard details should be utilized - We are currently using the
March 1984 details, revised in 1985.
Also, please note that the plans do not call out subgrade stabilization in the areas where
we are removing and replacing driveway entrances. These are small areas and we feel that it
would be difficult and expensive to include stabilization. Please let me know if you want this
added to the plans.
The Contract Documents and Specifications are also complete. City input is needed on
the following items:
· Currently set up to charge bidders $15.00 (non-refundable) for a set of
plans and specifications;
· Currently set up requiring two original copies of each bid;
· Geotechnical testing is provided by the contractor, utilizing an independent
laboratory approved by the City;
· Construction Staking is provided by the Contractor; and
