Dear Mr. Griffin:
I have enclosed a copy of a concept plan for the proposed environmental restoration,
streamba~k erosion, and recreation cost shared feasibility study along Denton Creek, as
discussed on April 30, 1996, between you and representatives of the Fort Worth District (Mr.
Gene T. Rice, Jr, and Mr. Ron Ramirez). This concept lists possible locations and various
project features that are under consideration for study.
After you and your staff have reviewed the draft concept, we would like to hold a follow on
meeting to discuss the City's continued interest in undertaking the proposed investigations.
We would like to tentatively schedule this meeting for the week of May 27-31, 1996. The
pul~ose of this meeting would be the initiation of detailed negotiations on the scope of study
requirements and associated costs for this feasibility study. After the negotiations are
completed, we will prepare a Project Study Plan (PSP) as documentation of the work effort
and cost for this project.
