CMJ Report No. 687-5192-040 Test No. 162 thru 169 was at sub grade elevation before any lime had been added. I new we would be reworking the sub grade with lime and be able to get passing density's. CMJ Report No. 687-5192-055 Test No. 192 was retested on CMJ Report No. 687-5192-056 Test No. 197 thru 200. CMJ Report No. 687-5192-100 Test No. 238.1 is identified incorrectly should be a retest of Test No. 248 after reworking the sub grade it still failed. After reworking the ground August 2nd & 3rd and each retest failing, the technician on the 3m pulled another sample and ran a new proctor, and it passed on August41h at 7:00 AM. CMJ Report No. 887-5192-201 were the density test taken in the ditch failure at Station 53+80, all three failed because of high moisture. When JT Dersner employees pulled the material out to dry it up, they struck a Verizon 1200 pair line. They continue to dry the material out and recompact it in place. I couldn't reschedule CMJ for the 8th for the retest. Because of the pending weather, and Dersner had already received their cement treated backfill, they installed it and Verizon took over the excavation to make their repair. &*,Iti~ 1914 03/09/2007 09:04 9722165637 TISEO PAGE 03/03 It was raining on Dec. 11th no test could be taken. When CMJ tried to get densities on the 12th Report No. 687-5192-203 on the cement treated backfill, too much time had lapsed. Lany I believe had Dersner been able to get retest on the 8th they would have passed. Furthennore after Verlzon made thetr repair, Dersner filled the void under the existing pavement with flowable fill. They also finished grading the sub grade with f10wable fill. CMJ Report No. 687-5192-184 was the concrete compression test for the pour on Nov. 07 2006. TISeO Paving believes these cylinders might have been damaged. Therefore we would like to do core's in the area of this test to preve out the paving concrete strength. If you need any additional information please feel free to contact me.
