But, the road continues to fail on the north side (west bound) between Heartz and Moore. You may recall this is the section that had the clay balls in the concrete. The corings we took showed that the concrete was marginal at best. Please respond as to what your intentions are in regards to repairing that section of Sandy Lake. At one time I offered to let Ed Bell walk away from the project if the remaining money was forfeited to the city so we could remove and replace as needed. My Street Division has been trying to keep the road drivable with asphalt patches, but that's a band -aid for the bigger problem which is the continued failures.
