You are correct that we would like to get this off the books. But, the road continues to fail on the
north side (west bound) between Heartz and Moore. You may recall this is the section that had the clay
balls in the concrete. The corings we took showed that the concrete was marginal at best.
Please respond as to what your intentions are in regards to repairing that section of Sandy Lake. At
one time I offered to let Ed Bell walk away from the project if the remaining money was forfeited to
the city so we could remove and replace as needed. My Street Division has been trying to keep the
road drivable with asphalt patches, but that's a band -aid for the bigger problem which is the continued
failures.
Let me know when you would like to discuss this further.
Thanks

Good afternoon
We still shows Sandy Lake to be open with approximately $219,000 due to us. I believe the last conversations
on this project were between Rob Weber and Gareth regarding marking some areas you wanted replaced. Can
we pick up the conversation again and move forward. We would like to get this one off of the books, as I am
sure you would also.
Thanks Ken
