Construction plans for Gateway Business Park #3 were received and logged in at 5:09 pm on 1/4/7.
Also, early grading plans were received on 1/4/7 and logged in at 4:49 pm. Your plans were submitted
two days after the plans for the Duke Lesley development. That set of plans was logged in on 1/2/7 at
9:22 am and contained 56 sheets of water, sewer, streets, traffic signal, drainage and coordination with
TxDOT on ramp relocations. Directors were out of town on 1/11 and 1/12 at a staff retreat. Also,
1/15/7 was a holiday.
Because the only Engineer in my Engineering Department is me (all other positions are currently
vacant), I knew there was going to be some time lag in your construction plan review. Therefore, your
early grading plans were reviewed and approved on 1/8/7 and the actual early grading permit was
issued on 1/19/7, the same day the fees were paid. It was my understanding that the grading could take
as long as 5 weeks.
Your plans are currently under review and should be returned during the week of 1/29/7. Because
Mark McGraw is the engineer of record on the plans, I would appreciate all other correspondence
concerning this project be from Mr. McGraw.
