WA9901-CS030508PRE -BID CONFERENCE Meadowcreek / Rolling Hills 8" Water Line (Denton Tap to Bethel School Road) WA 99 -01 Bid # Q- 0403 -01 05 -08 -03 10:00 a.m. Scope of Work: This work shall consist of the installation of approximately 5,350 linear feet of 8" PVC water line in Meadowcreek Road / Rolling Hills Road, from Denton Tap Road to Bethel School Road. Work shall include all components necessary for the "turn key" construction of the Meadowcreek / Rolling Hills 8" Water Line Project as shown in the plans for WA 99 -01, including, but not limited to: PVC pipe, long, short and 2 -inch services, street repair, boring, fire hydrant assemblies, 8" valves, connections to existing water lines, traffic control, and sodding. City of Coppell Project #WA 99 -01 Plans and Specifications, NCTCOG Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, TMUTCD, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (formerly TNRCC), the City of Coppell Standard Detail Drawings and Specifications, and any and all applicable state and federal regulations shall govern the work to be done. Repair or replacement of damaged pr or public property shall take place in a timely manner. Final cleanup and reestablishment of vegetation shall follow in a like manner. Bid Process: bftk Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on May 13, 2003 in the office of the Purchasing Agent, Coppell Town Center, 255 Parkway Blvd., PO Box 9478, Coppell TX 75019 and shall include the time for completion in calendar days. Liquidated damages are set at $240 per day and the successful bidder shall demonstrate to the owner that he has the experienced personnel, the equipment and the financial resources to complete the work as bid. Pay Items: Schedule of Items Section 1, Page 18 of the Contract Documents lists each pay item. There are a total of 22 pay items.
