Re: MacArthur Drainage Improvements
Dear Keith,
We have prepared the enclosed traffic control plan for your review. As
Indicated, this plan is based on closing the right lane on MacArthur for the full
duration of the project. This approach is based on section 1.1 S of the Specific
Project Requirements which requires that the contractor maintain one lane of
traffic in each direction at all times. We also request that the intersection of
MacArthur and Cribbs be closed for the duration of the project. This request is
made on the basis that affected residents should have relatively convenient
access to MacArthur via either Phillips St. or Samuel St.
We will make every effort to expedite the project and to minimize the
disruption to the public. We estimate that the project will require
approximately two weeks to complete, including curing time for the concrete
paving to reach 3000 PSI.
