Dear Garreth:
Texas Prestressed Concrete of Elan Mott, Texas, just to the north of Waco, will be casting
the concrete bridge beams for the referenced project. They want to know if you want a
testing lab present when they cast the beams. If so, I'd like to use Trinity Engineering &
Testing Corp. because they have a Waco office and they are familiar with Texas
Prestressed Concrete's operation.
Also, I received the State's detour plan you gave to Armando, and I need to know how
you want me to proceed. Do you want me to have Lectric Safety Lites and A.S.C.
Pavement markings price the work required and then present it to you as a Change Order?
If so, do we remove the existing white lane markings? Do we remove the temporary
double yellow centerline markings and replace them with white lane markings after the
detour is no longer needed?
