Suannarr. On Monday 01 -24-00 at about 1914hrs, I (Cpl. C. Wimberg) was dispatched to the
SWN -Go parking lot U 1000 E. Sandy Lake Rd. to meet a complainant_ Upon arrival. I spoke
with Copped FD. who stamd that they were tranpordng a female patient who had fallen into an
open hole jua South of Sandy Lake Rd. off of S. MacArthur. 1 the* spoke with the complainant,
Kates Schaefer. Schaefer stated that her aunt (Sherry Bogedain WIF 10- 04 -54) had just fallen
into an open hole while walking from 230 S. MacArthur Blvd to 1000 E. Sandy Lake Rd.
Schaefer stated her aunt told her the bole was South of E Sandy Lakc on the E. of S. MacArthur
Blvd. Scbsefer and I walked to the general aria to locate the hole. I found the hole about 107
feet South of the intersection of E. Sandy Lake Rd. and S. MacArthur Blvd_ The hole was about
23 "W. X 39 "L. X 49"D. The bole was in the pathway of a well worn foot trail. The area is unlit
and the hole could not be seen in the dark. There appeared to have been utility wo* going on in
the area since their was fivshly tutted sail all around. I observed about tea little orange GTE
flags about four or five feet East of the hole. I photographed the hole. I then place two large
pylons on either side of hole to indicate it's existance. I entered the photograph into the Coppell
police evidence roars for safekeeping.
